Amanda Zins made a huge splash at East High School in the pool as a three-time Nebraska High School State Champion diver for the Spartans. She was state runner up
her freshman year before rattling off three straight championships from 1995-1997. She was named High School All American in each of those three years.
Amanda set the school record for both the 6 and 11 dive events and won the Lincoln Public Schools meet four years and the Conference meet three of the four years. She was named honorary captain of the All-City team her senior year Amanda went on to dive at the University of Nebraska.
